Retreat and Defend
First things first! Any of you currently in possession of Mockingjay please stand up. I am currently standing on my chair waving it around like some crazy pre-teen who just secured a autographed picture of my favorite * cough* vampire. I now will retreat to some dark corner of my house with a cup of coffee and a cinnamon twist to tear through it before my 13 and 11-year-old kids realize I have it. Wish me luck as I try and fend off the two rather persistent kids who want to read it as badly as me!

Trisha, make a different cover for the book ASAP! Tell them it's a Jane Green book or something involving heavy mathematics! Good luck, I'm doing the same thing on my kindle only lucky for me, my kids aren't vying for it just yet:-)
ReplyDeleteHi Trisha! I bought it just after midnight on my Nook and went to be way too late ... I couldn't just let is sit there all night without reading a little of it. A little turned in to a 1/4 of the book!

ReplyDeleteIt's times like this that I'm glad my kids can't read yet! I had it all to myself for 24 hours. Luckily I finished it in that time, because my husband was chomping at the bit for his turn with it.
